American Musical Supply was building the first of three new distribution centers in Oakland, NJ and needed to create space to hold their growing inventory of musical instruments, spare parts, and related items.

Specialized Storage Solutions sat down with the director of operations to create specifically-sized storage locations for every part number in inventory. We also partnered with Frazier Industrial Company to determine the proper bin sizes required to fit in and below the storage rack beams to make the best use of the available space so that the system would work with wire guided orderpickers and swing reach trucks.

AMS has elected to have Specialized Storage Solutions furnish their other two distribution centers with the same items.
